Meet Rainier

Daughter of Yogi & Everest

Rainer is an exciting up-and-coming prospect in the Summit Canines breeding program. A daughter of Red Prairies Grizzly’s Yogi Bear and Everest of Summit Canine, she represents the combination of drive, trainability, temperament, and versatility we strive to produce in our Golden Retrievers.

Rainer is currently being developed for Search and Rescue, where she is showing great promise. She is a higher-energy girl with plenty of enthusiasm and working drive, while also possessing an excellent off switch when the work is done. She is incredibly fun to train, eager to please her handler, and thrives on having a job.

She is highly food and toy motivated, making her an enthusiastic and engaged training partner. Rainer loves learning, enjoys working alongside her handler, and brings a playful, loving personality to everything she does.

We are excited to watch Rainer continue to mature and develop as a working dog and look forward to seeing what she accomplishes in Search and Rescue. As she progresses through her training and completes the appropriate health clearances, we are hopeful she will become an important part of the future of the Summit Canines breeding program.
